What are Secondary Conditions?

Secondary Conditions

Secondary Conditions are conditions that result due to a Structural Shift in the spine. Any time you have a secondary condition, it is important to ask WHY that symptom has occurred. At our office, we will determine whether you have a Structural Shift; and whether or not it may be causing your symptoms.Lower-Back-Pain-192x300

It is also very important to note that your brain is controlling the 100 trillion cells in your body by sending and receiving signals through your spinal curves and various nerves. When you have an underlying Structural Shift, the signals between the brain and cells throughout your body can become affected. Imagine listening to the radio while driving under a bridge. The signals may still be getting through, but not as clearly.

Common Secondary Conditions:

Low back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, thoracic outlet syndrome, bone spurs, degenerative disc disease, herniated or bulging discs, abnormal posture, numbness and tingling, ear infections, rotator cuff problems, shoulder pain, hearing or vision difficulties, balance problems, carpal tunnel, knee pain, and hip pain.
